Within the field of sustainability, we designed and conducted an urban intervention in a popular supermarket, in the second biggest city in Denmark. Through NulAffald.dk, we propose an alternative way of shopping that produces less trash, where reusable containers are used, instead of disposable packaging. The central part of our intervention was a staged action where agents purchased a variety of goods and filled the content of these into reusable containers, leaving the packaging in the store – causing reflection from onlookers. Additionally, a website and social media identity were built to allow the influenced people to seek further information.
